WINGS WIN vs Tigers Oct 7th

Manix Sarrasin scored a pair of goals and set up another and Matthew Mueller had a goal and two assists to spark the Fredericton Riverview Ford Red Wings to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Campbellton Tigers in Maritime Hockey League action at Fredericton’s Grant-Harvey Centre Saturday night.
Nathan Casey and Mathieu Pelletier had the other markers for the Wings, now 3-2-1 on the season . Pelletier, who scored 36 points in 28 games with the Wings last season, has a point in all six games the Wings have played while Mueller stretched his point scoring streak to five games. Alex Roode had three assists.
The Wings fired 52 shots at Tigers goaltender Braxton Castagno, making his second start in the Campbellton cage.
The Tigers, 4-3-0 on the season, got goals from Mathis Cyr and Daniel Khathib past Wings rookie goaltender Zach Bridgeo. The freshman from Woodstock, N.B. made 41 saves in the Fredericton net.
The Wings broke out to a 3-1 first period lead, outshooting the Tigers 24-10 in the process, and stretched the advantage to 5-1 through 40 minutes. They average more than six goals per game through their first six games. (Submitted by Bill Hunt)
