The Fredericton Red Wings are excited to announce the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Patrick Brown (March 21st, 2000) from the Collingwood Blues of the OJHL. The 6’3 forward Brown was acquired in a trade by Fredericton for future considerations to Collingwood. Prior to playing in Collingwood, Brown played two seasons for the North Bay Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League. Last season in Collingwood, Brown registered 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points in 43 games.
Patrick is a key signing for the Red Wings says Head Coach Brian Casey. “We are excited to add Patrick’s experience to our lineup. Playing two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League proves that Patrick is a high talented player who will help drive our offence. We are confident that Patrick’s experience will have guide our young players and have a positive influence in our room”.
Brown is expected to be in the Red Wings lineup on December 3rd against Edmundston as he will finish his 14 day of quarantine.
