It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Steve Burns as on becoming a Community Hero Award Winner on behalf of the Epsilon Y’s Service Club and the Fredericton Red Wings Hockey Club.
Steve’s community service over the past 25 years in Fredericton has been exemplary, making a significant difference in our community.
The Community Hero Award is given to those who contribute and give of their time, energy and resources to make our community better, Steve will be given the Community Hero Award at the end of the first period during the Fredericton Red Wings game vs the Campbellton Tigers on January 4th 2020 at 3 PM. Steve will receive a commemorative jersey, be placed on the Community Hero Wall of Fame and a donation to his charity of choice in the amount of $200 dollars, also, a tribute video to Steve will be played during the presentation capturing some of Steve’s history in Fredericton. Steve will be honored on the same day as the Red Wings pay tribute to all First Responders during their first ever First Responders Game.
